I run a web studio, and I ship my own software.

Hamburg and Exeter. Fixed-price sites for businesses that need one, and a shelf of tools I built because I needed them.

The Moin Websites site

Moin Websites

A web studio in Hamburg, run by two of us. We take a business from the first call to a shipped site: design, build, deploy, at a fixed price, with no page builder underneath. Clients keep ownership of their domain, hosting and email, which is the part most agencies quietly keep.

Also shipped

Tools I use every day, and one app in build.

Hormone intelligence platform

2026

A native iOS app, in build. It reads hormone data and makes it legible to the person it belongs to. The name isn’t settled yet.

In buildiOS

A native macOS front end for a design reference library: waterfall grid, families as tabs, colour extraction, and a composer that turns a selection into one build prompt.

ShippedmacOS

A macOS menu-bar widget for what’s left of a Claude subscription. Live percentage and prompts, with a local fallback when the API is unreachable.

ShippedmacOS

Pulls a YouTube transcript out as clean Markdown and downloads the video as MP3 or MP4. Built because I needed it daily; mine holds 690.

Where it starts

Aged nine, painting the soapbox car I built
The soapbox car, 2016

Before any of it, a soapbox car.

I was nine. A tin of red paint and no idea what I was doing. An electric go-kart followed in tenth grade: tube frame, battery pack, no engine. Then the work moved from steel to software without really changing.

About

My own projects I build alone, and I stop the ones that don’t work.

I’m Leander Dörner. I’m nineteen, German, based in Exeter. I’ve been finishing things since 2016, first machines and then software, and the studio is where that turned into a business with customers rather than a habit.

Contact

If you’re building something, or backing someone who is — write to me.

Investment, collaboration, a project you want built, or a question. There’s one route in and I read all of it myself.
